Meaning of the warranty & it’s terms and conditions:

UPHILL SPORTS, hereby provides Warranty on selected items for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase by the User against manufacturing defects in workmenship only. After the expiry of the period, you can still avail of this repair facility , by paying for the same. The Warranty, however, is subject to the following conditions:

 1. This Warranty card is valid only if it is filled in, stamped and signed by the authorized dealer / Retailer / person of UPHILL SPORTS (Except for corporate purchases). The card and the relevant cash memo must be provide along with the defective piece.
2. The defective piece must be delivered by the User at his/her/its/ own cost. The details whereof can be obtained by contacting the Company on aforesaid help line number or email ID. 
3. This Warranty isn’t valid for :
 ·Damages resulting from misuse / mishandling , negligence of the product, accidents, unauthorized repair, tampering, loss of parts/accessories, normal wear and tear, exposure to heat and temperature, any solvents, acids and exposure to rain/water.
· Replacement/repair of briefcase folios and suitcase divider flaps.
· Damages such as zip bursts, cracks, printing, dents and scratches to any of the parts, tearing of inner lining, leather trimmings / Accessories or any other fabric.
·Damages caused by mishandling and abuse in transition by the carrier company’s (Airlines etc.) (if such damage occurs, one must immediately file a claim with the Transport Company before leaving the transport terminal).
 4. The UPHILL SPORTS will undertake to repair / replace of the defective product at its own consideration within a reasonable period of time and its decision as to the nature of the defects and applicability of this Warranty is final.
 ·if the product is reparable and covered under warranty the product will be repaired at UPHILL SPORTS expense and returned to you.
 ·if the product is not reparable and is covered under warranty, you will be contacted via e mail in regards to receiving a comparable warranty replacement at no cost to you. 
 ·if the spare parts for given model are not available we may offer an equivalent model at special rate.
 ·if the product is repairable and not covered under warranty, you may either have the product returned to you unrepaired, or have the product repaired at your on expense. this will be communicated to you by the authorised repair center via e mail.
  5. Any disputes arising out of the applicability / usage of this Warranty card is subject to Meerut jurisdiction only.
6. UPHILL SPORTS liability for damages shall be restricted only up to repair/replacement of the defective product and in no event and under no circumstances it shall exceed the price paid (after discounts, if any) by the customer to invoice/cash memo.
7.This Warranty excludes every condition/warranty liability not expressly set out herein.
8. Any security mechanism fitted on the luggage are delaying devices and can’t prevent theft of the contents and luggage.9. Besides the aforesaid terms and conditions, for availing the Warranty, the procedure as mentioned below also needs to be followed by the user to avail the warranty on the product: To avail of this warranty the user needs to contact the Company’s customer care center by phone or email.
· Please note any shipping costs to the repair center will be your responsibility. The address of repair center will be provided by call center.
 · The Firm reserves the right to repair; or replace the defective piece as deemed suitable. In case of replacement, the defective piece shall be replaced with another piece of the same model or equivalent model of any of the Company’s brand at the Company’s consideration.
· In case of service call being raised outside of India in any country which is covered by this warranty and in the case where the UPHILL SPORTS approves the replacement of the defective piece – the fresh piece will either have to be picked up by the user from the Company’s service center or the firm may agree to deliver the same to the user at the address provided by him/ her, which should be within the limits of the country from where the service call was originated.
  · In case Firm agrees to deliver the replacement free of cost to the user at the address provided and agreed, the user shall be required to deliver the defective piece at its own cost, either before or after receipt of replacement in lieu of the defective piece, to nearest service location as may be informed.
 · In case the product is is not repairable and not covered under warranty, you can elect to have the authorized Repair Center send the product back to you un-repaired, or you may ask the authorized Repair Center to dispose of the product.
